FAMILY, CAREER, AND COMMUNITY LEADERS OF AMERICA
Pine Hollow FCCLA
Pine Hollow Middle School FCCLA had a strong opening year. We had 27 paid members and up to 40 club day members. We had 17 students attend a district meeting in December, 8 students attend the state competition, and 5 students heading to Nashville this summer to represent our school.

Are you looking for a club to join that will help you grow as a leader? Are you looking for a way to get involved in something outside of the school walls? Then FCCLA is right for you!

See Mrs. Yeary and make sure that a Family & Consumer Science class is on your schedule and bring in your registration form and you will be ready to go.

There is a $14.00 affiliation fee associated with our organization but your dues help to run the state and national programs!

Do you want to take your leadership a step further? Apply to become a Pine Hollow chapter officer next year. You will need to complete the application within the first few weeks of school as we will hold elections at the beginning of August. You must be able to attend FCCLA on Club Day if you want to be an officer!
All smiles as we head out to Greensboro for our state competition.
Two 7th grade students won this competition with their project about the importance of eating meals with your families.
Sharing a meal together was a lot of fun. Also, a great opportunity to teach table manners, tipping methods, and conversation techniques.
